Have to ask: is the shoe tree a few miles to the east near Middlegate still there? What about the nudie-bar in the middle of nowhere near the salt flats off of US-50? I'm too scared to go inside!
Yep, the shoe tree near middlegate is still there. I didn't see any nudie-bar, but there was a "regular" bar (it just said BAR on it) near middlegate, out in the middle of nowhere.
The Shoe Tree was cut down by vandals last month, this weekend there was a bunch of people that had a memorial there. I don't know if they found the vandals but I heard it was teenagers. Nothing is sacred anymore.
