Very good page once again, Wombat. The picts would be great if they weren't too blurry/compressed. Probably both. The trick is to pre-shrink to 650 x nnn pixels and sharpen the pictures before submitting. When saving the photos you should use 80 - 90% quality (10 - 20% compression) This seems to be an adequate size/quality ratio.
Why do I say this? If you look closely at the sky of photo 134758 you'll see that it is kinda striped. A sure sign for too much compression (50% I would say).
Don't get me wrong. It's not meant as criticism, your picts just would deserve to be higher quality.
Good page. I might suggest adding a short blurb to the Getting There section about an approach via the South Slopes, since the peak is commonly hiked from North Lake via Piute Pass/Desolation Basin. This approach avoids the crux of the climb--the drive to the Horton Lakes trailhead.
Will do - I'll see what Secor's guidebook says. Since its likely to be unhelpful (and to save me from having to track down the info on mapquest), do you know anything about that approach that I could use?

Untitled CommentLooks like another good page...but with another big error.
This mountain is in California, not Utah.
