There was a kid on my first Little League baseball team in Mount Prospect, IL named Fred. I wonder if this is named after him. He couldn't field very well but he was like McGuire with the bat.

How do you know none of those Freds have climbed the peak. Never know. Right Said Fred may be a mountain climber and hunger for obscure peaks.

I think this mountain is named after Fred's Lake. Hmmmm, so perhaps the name of the mountain should be Fred Lake mountain. Or there could be two Freds that the mountain is named for, Fred Sr. and Fred Jr. Ah, the possibilities are endless as you have so aptly indicated on the front page.
