Very nice, Mike. I recall climbing up Vivian Crk Trail and noting the fine-looking ridge with the steep north faces behind me to the south. Your photos are great, too!
Thanks Bob. I've hiked the Vivian Creek trail for years and every Winter I tell myself I will climb Galena Peak. The ridge and chutes look SO nice. It was fun!
Thanks John. There are a few good snow climbs in So Cal. But there needs to be snow ;) Hopefully we'll get a few more good dumps and that should set up for a couple more good climbs before the season is over. Look for a Jepson Peak page in the near future.

Nice page, Mike. I didn't know about this one until I climbed San Gorgonio last Saturday - Impressive peak! Looks like those snow gullies are in great shape for a climb about now.
