Re: Have you climbed this peak?There's no hard-and-fast rule, but posting on mountains and routes one hasn't climbed is discouraged by site management and policies, and when the subject comes up in the forums, solid majorities of responders are typically against it.
It's your choice to create an encyclopedia-style page for a peak, but most users seem to prefer pages with first-hand details about routes, difficulties, and the like, especially if there are maps, diagrams, and photos to help illustrate.

Re: Have you climbed this peak?This information might prove useful if someone wants to climb this peak, and taking it down would mean it gets lost. My personal preference for a case like this would be to post it as an Article instead of Mountain/Rock. Same with Melungtse :-)
