Sorry, I don't know anything about the technical climbing on Horsetooth, but I bet there is some. The rock is solid granite and pretty rough so I'm sure there are plenty of hand and foot holds. For somebody who knows what they're doing I imagine it wouldn't be too tough to climb straight up the sides. Also check the thread I just posted in the Rocky Moutains section concerning the bolt type things I found in the summit. Those might give you a clue as to the technical climbing on Horsetooth.
