Great name for a peak! Looks like a horse's tooth. Does it also smell like one?

Thanks for the vote Alan, someone went through and killed me on the photos. Be honest, are they that bad, if so I'll remove them.

Chris....I quit worrying about votes on my photos a long time ago. The photos are fine....keep 'em.

Great page on an interesting mountain. Disappointing votes on the pictures, I thought that they were all excellent. Thanks for the addition!

I think we had our steak cookout around this area when we stayed at Aspen Lodge. Nice pix and info id#82268 with the clouds is really good.

Beautiful! A nice pocket-sized peak in the shadow of the Park giants. I look forward to checking it out.

Any chance we can get a topozone link?

Stellar job! Awesome pics. Fun mountain. These little guys sometime hold the nicest secrets and surprises. Check spelling and typos, but the page and mountain are dandy. Thanks for adding it!

Chris, what is the Sandbeach Lake Trail currently like? How much snow still exists?

Thanks for the vote Kane, I didn't get into any snow on the Sandbeach Lake trail for the first 2 or 3 miles. That's were I turned off. There was waist deep snow on the N/NE/E aspects of Lookout mountain above 10,000 feet. It was very soft.

Chris, you are right it is overlooked. Guess I've driven past this thing a hundred times and never took note of it. I'll check it out some day! Thanks.

Thanks Nelson, it is overlooked and I didn't notice it until I was looking at a topo of the area.

Nice page! Also, thanks for the info. on that trailhead. Very useful! Because of the Roach 13er book, I had always assumed that an approach for Horsetooth and Meeker Ridge would have to be made from Copeland Lake. That TH isn't even noted on the park map!

Thanks Ryan, if you wanted to do Lookout and Horsetooth you would have more fun coming from Copeland. That's what I did yesterday and it's quite and adventure. I plan on adding Lookout tonight perhaps.
