Thank you for taking the Time and Effort and Caring to get this information together in such an organized way and Sharing it with so many folks. You have provided Safer and more Fun climbing to anyone that reads your page and uses your information !!!!!
Wonderful Job, more Catskill peaks should be added. I lived in the Hunter~Tannersville area for a while back in the 80's.
I hiked along the Devils path last year from Route 214 (the notch) South up and over Plateau Mt. to the Mink Hollow road and than hitch hiked back into town. I also did the Overlook Fire Tower in Woodstock, Peekamoose, Rocky, Table and Lone.
Good page. Just did Hunter this weekend and will add pics to the page very shortly. Catskills are nice mountains and hopefully many of the others will be added soon. I added Slide Mtn. today.
Tips on getting to Southwestern Hunter Mtn Summit?
I would like to hike to the Southwestern Hunter Mtn Summit. Any one ever been there? Anyone have tips on how to get to it? Is there a trail, (official or unofficial) that can be taken to get there? If so, how do I find it? Where is it in relation to the Lean-to on Hunter?

Untitled CommentNot bad. Could use a shot of the actual mountain from a distance. All there is now is summit view shots, and some trail shots.

Untitled CommentVery nice informative page! Here are some very simple HTML tips for making bold text (for the subtitles) that would make it easier to read.
Also, here is a link to a weather map that you can copy and paste into the Conditions section.
