The road really isn't as bad as it's cracked up to be. Sure, if you're in a passenger car, it's slow going, but it should be doable up to the saddle. The worst part was a short (1/4 mile?) stretch where the road narrows and your paint *will* get scratched if you're in anything medium sized and up. If you're ever in doubt, it's easy to get there if you follow these guidelines: 1st, always stay on the most well traveled road. 2nd, if given a choice between two well traveled roads, always head up and left. Follow signs for Mirror Lake. (There were two that we saw)
