Thanks for the vote. Jiri to Lukla is probably the most "aggressive" Maoist area to walk thru at the moment amongst the more popular regions. It's got worse in the last few months with bigger donations being demanded. I met a few people from US, NZ, Australia who had come that way and described all the hassle they got and that a donation of approx $40 was being taken.Are you planning a trip?
