Good page. I love the mountains that have good views of nearby cities. Other summits on SP that are similiar in that nature are, The Uncanoonacs, Rock Rimmon, Sleeping Giant, Stone Mountain and Blue Hills. This summit will be the first place I stop when I visit Roanoke.
Thank you for your comments. I'll definately have to check those other mountains out! We may not have towering peaks on the east coast but we sure do have a lot of beautiful places to enjoy the mountains without being crowded!
