Probably a first on SP for West Africa. One heck of a Kapok Tree. Curious tree being native to South America, Africa and Southeast Asia.

It is always nice and interesting to read

about less known mountain(s).

Thanks. You've been to Mont Agou? It's not a standard tourist destination by any means. Do you happen to have any additional photos?

Sorry I have not been to Mount Agou, but have had friends travel in Western Africa... and I know the area is beautiful. I dont have any photos, and have asked my friends and they dont either.

I look forward to travelling there, and your page has helped in places I want to visit. Cheers, Rachel

Thanks, CW--you've pointed me to an excellent page! I really like pages for out of the way destinations such as Togo, I'd like to be able to be in any country in the world and go climbing with information off of SP. Of course, there will be countries like Monaco that literally have no climbing, but as you've shown here, even the humble nation of Togo has something to offer us.

Thank you. Glad someone out there sees my point. It's pretty rich CW preaching tolerance and temperance. Thanks for the vote.

Thanks. You do now! It's not exactly a mountaineering destination, but I was in the area...
