"this is active grizzly country" Hmmm, statements like that always capture my imagination. Perhaps it is due to seeing too many Charlie Russell paintings. Another fine contribution Dow.

As I recall, I was in Yoho many years back. That whole area is wonderful.

Thank You. Environmental Chemist? Never met one. Sounds cool though. Cheers.

For example: which is the concentration of some pollutants in a agricultural soil (or in the ice of a glacier, that for us could be more interesting) ? Or which analytical method must be used for different environmental investigations? These are only a very little part of the interest of an environmental chemist. Ciao

Great job Dow. I will add some photos from my ascent in 2004. We didn't go to the south summit (looked pretty exposed), but enjoyed the views all the same. Keep 'em coming! - Colin

Thanks Colin, will look for your additions. We are doing a moon lit ski tonight. Heads up, this could be the best ski season since I have lived here. Cheers.

Nice page, Dow! Beautiful Signature ID photo with amazing Emerald Lake. I very like Canada and it's wonderful National Parks.

Beautiful signature view and good action shot in the gully. Summit ridge is pretty bold.

Very nice page. And thanks for mentioning the Burgess Shale. I've _got_ to get up to Yoho some time.

I've always loved Yoho (and isn't that where the film, "The Edge" was made?)! Thanks for this one!
