I toted a red medium sized water bottle to the summit on 9-28-10 and left it in the top of the summit cairn, along with several sheets of paper and a working ball point pen. It's supposed to be a summit register. If you climb Emmons and find it, let me know. Thanks.

Krebs Creek crossing signAs of 9-10-10 there was no sign at the crossing. In addition, the crossing logs are about 10 yards upstream from where the trail crosses the creek.
