Nice job! 4 stars contingent on completion! I just love Glacier. I'm hoping to see more from your Glacier trip on SP! We hiked to Dawson Pass and encountered the same gale force winds in 2004. I looked at both Helen and Flinsch as possible destinations, but the wind was just awful. We climbed Sinopah.

Rugged south face of Helen from Sinopah! Be sure to remember to add the finishing touches to your page.

Hi Aaron! Thanks for your vote. Yes, Glacier was quite spectacular. I just wish we'd had more time there. I don't have any more stuff to add to Glacier but I'll add some info for some mountains to the north, in the Canadian Rockies. The feel is very similar to Glacier.

That's funny that you guys caught the same gale-force winds we did. I thought I might just get blown off the mountain entirely, never to be heard from again.

Nice shot of Sinopah! We also looked at Flinsch but the winds as bad as they were decided Helen looked easier. Oh well.

I'm working on the "finishing touches" now. Thanks again.

Nice page, Carolyn, but be careful: GNP can get in your blood! Those of us fortunate enough to live in the area NEVER take it (and the other Montana mountains) for granted!

Thanks for putting the page up; hope to see more in the future!

Hi Vernon,

Thanks for your vote! I'm afraid it's too late about GNP getting in your blood though... already wanting to return!

I'll check the spelling of Pumpelly and make the change.

I like all of the Glacier National Park Mountains. I want to take a trip there next year to climb some of them.
