A minor and uncertain quibble: you may be using an older version of the 4000er list.
On the version recently posted on the AMC website, Jackson ranks 39th. (Wildcat D made a big jump up in height, apparently. I haven't yet tracked down the survey, if any, that triggered the change.)
Went up webster jackson trail on 12-12-15. Wasa beautiful day. Spring conditions. I got behind a group of 25 hikers who were with an AMC club from Mass. Took a while to pass them. They really should have more courtesy to let hikers go by who are not in there group. Not impressed AMC
