You might be golfing and not done with it - but compared to the other pages I've been reading lately this is certainly not lousy enough for 3S I'll be coming back for the views....
Drove up on a scouting mission today. FSR #56 now terminates at the Dingford Creek TH. Going beyond that point on Bicycle would be possible but the road is closed to vehicles. The result being the Southeast Route would have a considerably longer approach (4 miles more).
I would Love to see that. FSR 56 is actually in great shape. I did notice that the trail to Mailbox Peak has been paved up the trail for some way. This was odd to me since the parking lot is still dirt. I hope they aren't putting in another housing development.
