I see you and Britt have divided up the Minsi/Tammany page. I agree that this was a good idea, but your half still needs a bit of work. The usual stuff applies: photos need to be added to the main page, text needs some editting and some more detail needs to be added. This is a tremendously popular mountain and a very high-traffic area. The page should be top-notch.
It looks like most of the photos went with Britt's page; I'll look over my contributions and see if some of them need to be moved over. I have a scanned map that shows more of the NJ side than the PA side, certainly.
Regarding the fee demo paragraphs: there was a lot of hoopla about this last fall on SP and a lot of people (myself included) went running around like the world was about to end. So far, I've heard no evidence that such a thing is anything more than rumor and in fact the www.freeourforests.org web page cited in the 'official' text hasn't been updated since October. The manager of a national forest in WV and the aide to a US Senator from the same state have not heard anything about this. Also, the text you quote is from a Colorado page. I would suggest taking this out until we get more concrete evidence.
This is a good start, but lots more work needs to be done. I look forward to seeing more!
Much better. Good to see you working on this. The overview is good and the history is a nice touch. Could use a little more information on Getting There like exit numbers and more precise directions. I spent three hours waiting for my hiking partner at the trail head only to find that he'd been parked at the visitor's center for two hours. It's a little confusing if you haven't been there before.
Minor stuff: capitalize 'i' and do a spell checking.
I've moved three photos over including a map from the Minsi page.

Untitled CommentThanks for your vote. For some reason, the HTML gods would not let me link your pic of Tammany on the front page.
