I'm glad to see it back again.
This peak also defined my teenage and young adult years. The last time I set foot on it was around 1977 during an attempt to do the whole NE ridge from Hicks Rd. About half way up, near the junk yard, I got the dreaded, "HEY YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!" Whoever it was, I out-ran him back to my van via Rincon Creek and never returned. Good times.
