When I hiked this trail there were no "off-trail" portions, but I agree with your comment that it's strenuous...especially if you bag Flinsch Peak and Mt Morgan along the way.

"Mount Henry Trail, MT." Do you know where the weather-collecting instrumentation is located? How did you ever stumble across the designation "Mount Henry Trail, MT."? I'd never think to enter something like that as a search parameter—would probably just make do with something like "East Glacier Park..."
I doubt that there is a weather collecting station. (Although there is some sort of tower below Appistoki Falls.) It actually is probably East Glacier Weather. I will send you the link.
