happy to see...

Pages on some of Ontario's highpoints... they are long overdue. Thanks for putting them up.

I was wondering if you knew anything about Tip Top in Pukaskwa... in terms of accessibility, whether it is a tree-covered summit or there is a view from the top that sort of thing. For years I have wondered and have never really found an answer.

Thanks for posting.

Re: happy to see...

Hi there, thanks for the kind words.

As for Tip Top... It is currently at the bottom of my list in terms of accessibility. From scouring topographical maps of the area, it looks to be a 12 km bushwhack from the nearest trail -- Simon's Harbour on Lake Superior. I've read one trip report about it: http://www.canoekayak.com/canoe/tiptopmaountain/, they imply there is a good view from the summit.

Re: happy to see...

Thanks for the tip... I read the trip report... Hope to keep seeing peaks from the Algoma Region and the rest of Central Ontario.

Cheers -Tim-
