Reiter FoothillsThe area on the south that is used for access is called the Reiter Foothills and is the search term for use on the DNR website. You might make a permanent link for this.

New Reiter Hills constructionHere is some updated information:
We were stopped by a yellow gate at 1160 ft here, which required us to walk over two miles to the gully start. It seems like this gate may be open in the future because a brand new pit toilet building has been built about here about half-a-mile before the gully. The road to the gully from there was marked Road Closed but there was no gate. So I'm unclear if you'll still be able to drive to the gully start.
A few other new parking area with kiosks and toilets have been built lower down before the yellow gate. So a lot of dollars have been pouring into the Reiter Foothills. It's a motorcycle and ATV playground.
