Although you've done a good job constructing a page, Pothole Dome is pretty self-explanatory and almost anyone can climb it with no technical skill. No offense intended, but I'd rather see a page about one of the domes or peaks where you could provide useful climbing info.

Added later: Well, shut my mouth! I didn't know there were routes on Pothole! Duh. I guess I'd prefer you added it to Tuolomne Meadows Logistical Center or something but this does seem like useful information afterall.....

Nevermind! Thanks.

There are more routes too... Another set of topropes and a couple harder routes.

While anyone could climb it without technical skill, certainly not from the West or North west (and maybe North too). So how is that different from any of the sierra mtns? El Cap, Half Dome, Lembert, Conness, Whitney... All have walk ups. Sure a little more commitment, but I think it is extremely valuable to have info on climbs that are close to the car.

The Getting There section should be more specific for those of us who are unfamiliar with Yosemite. At least give the names of the highways to get there!!! Provide a non-technical route to the summit (a hiking route) as well as the technical route. Add some more photos. If you do NOT do this, the page is rated low enough to get booted off of the summitpost site. (That is not my policy). I think you just need to add a little bit, and you will have a good page. Thanks.

I can see this page has potential. Beef up the getting there section. Mention the road names/numbers and highway names/numbers required to get there.

Page is pretty bare bones. Approach only useful for those already fairly familiar with Tuolumne Meadows; driving directions from either the Bay Area or Reno insufficient. The most convenient parking lot for Pothole Dome lies actually at the end of the Meadows headed for Tenaya Lake (paved). Red Tape should include bear can regulations. Camping doesn't say where campground is, how to get a campsite, how much it is, etc.

The value of SP pages lies in the information presented for those unknowledgeable about given mountains/areas. While most of the information presented may help out those already familiar with Tuolumne, these people probably won't benefit from this page anyway (if one has been there half an hour, one is about as knowledgeable about the place as can be!). Those interested in it but unknowledgeable about the area won't find enough information to be of much use.

Improve the site & I'll change my vote accordingly.

It's a granite dome. I love those formations. Doesn't need much else to describe it. An okay post. Some people are just way too hard.

Also, I don't do technical climbs, so a walk-up is fine for me. Class III scares me, man!

Could use some more detail on the getting there section. A link to Caltrans road conditions would help. There could be more camping detail also, ie phone #s and links for reservations. Its a good start.
