I had a long lovely stroll this June from Handies over to 13,795. I have viewed its black tipped it many times before and decided to call it "Black Tine" as in a deer antler. Ironically on my return through Boulder Creek Basin back to American Basin a small herd of deer were bounding about well above treeline.
