"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Untitled CommentThis page has changed into very capable hands. I'm hoping to see route description with specifics on conditions, etc. from contributors or the maintainer. The pictures are fabulous.

Untitled CommentThanks for your zero rating. I adopted this page a long time ago when there were no other members of summitpost willing to take it over. I have not climbed this mountain myself, but I am more than willing to do updates and add as I can and maintain the page. I am not about to copy a route description from a book if I have no first hand experience on it. You might want to look at the trip report for some insights. If you have climbed it and can do better go for it...you can adopt it. Until then I will volunteer to do it.

Untitled CommentExcellent page. How do you get a big picture on your page like that? A special html code?
It is really neat to see these pages now with the larger format pic.

Untitled CommentKane,
(explicative) brilliant! Simply (explicative) great! A kick (explicative) page! Very nicely composed. Makes me want to crawl around on loose and unsteady rock. Beautiful photos of the Elks.

Untitled CommentWithout doubt one of the best pages on SP! Period.
I'm with Jon, makes me want to head up there. (What's wrong with us?!) Actually a friend of mine who has done all the 14'ers and knows what I like to do says I should go for this one.

Untitled CommentI liked Maroon Peak better. Better views, closer to Capitol/Snowmass massif. Really cool route as well. Don't get me wrong, Pyramid rocks as well. What's the point in driving all the way there and not getting both? I will be heading for North Maroon this season, I'll let you know.

Untitled CommentMuch bigger than its Egyptian namesake. What can I say? The ledges look as if they are loaded for bear. The route looks very clever.
Hate to be Marooned on this one during a storm. Very complete description and detailed climbing photos.

Untitled CommentIt looks similar to Red Castle in the Uintas, but a bit less rugged.

Untitled CommentThanks for the vote. How can I make this a four star page? By your 3 star vote, it's obviously missing something.
