The 275 degree views, was more of an educated estimation. The view is really incredible because all of the trees that would normally restrict your view are directly behind you.

Nice page.
You dont have to add it if you dont want too but here is some interesting history info about the lake-
It is the site of an old town called Moncton, in 1912 when a damn was built, the water percilated downhill flooding the town and creating the current lake.
this site has some pictures of the plaques around the lake and a little bit of info if you click here

you could find some more info using google.

its not really about the mountain, but i thought it might be interesting anyway.

Rattlesnake Mountain

Not too far away from the ledges is Rattlesnake Mtn, #80 on the Washington Prominence Peak list. Anyone continued on up to the top?
