Exactly right! Most of the photos I have made were taken in the region "Schmallenberger Sauerland", a little bit west from Winterberg. A few months later after I have visited this nice place, a team of the German TV has made a film of the Rothaarsteig exactly at the same location where I have made my best photos although this place is rather unknown and not directly at the mountain path of the Rothaarsteig itself. The place calls "Sommerseite" and lies above Oberkirchen, a little village between Schmallenberg and Winterberg. From there you have an extraordinary beautiful view onto the Rothaarsteig mountains.

Perhaps enter photo id 144181 in the ninth box down (edit mode) for signature photo.
