a little bit. But the Lake District has a character all of it´s own. It has many landscape variations all crammed into a relatively small area. There is also some damned fine rock climbing in the Lakes, again it´s one of those seminal places for British rock climbing. I´m visiting a friend near there in a few weeks! :o))
