Actually this point is entirely in Montana and Madison County. Fremont County is to the south. South and east of the divide in this area is all in Fremont County, but this ridge point extends north from the source of Targhee Creek beyond the divide. Check the map out here:

You can see the 10,606 ridge point (which I am calling Sheep Point, based on the unofficial name given on the List of John website) is at the upper center of the map, north of the indicated Madison/Fremont county line.

Sheep Lake

Nice Page! Regarding via Sheep Lake btw, the Cedron Jones book has a route going up a grassy/rocky ramp to the west of the talus after you traverse the east side of the Lake. We ascended this general route and it worked out pretty well...you could even possibly keep it under class 3. There's a few other viable ways too, either up various slopes of Coffin and traverse around, via the low saddle between Coffin and Sheep Point, or slightly further WSW up the ridge leading towards Sheep Pt from the saddle. I'd say the round trip is around 10-12 miles this way.
