ILLEGAL POST - PRIVATE PROPERTY NO ACCESS
THIS POST NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY. NO HIKERS OR TRESSPASSERS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED. WE WILL PROSCUTE. THERE IS NO LEGAL ACCESS TO DEVILS PEAK OR SNOW MOUNTAIN. YOU KNOW THIS, JUST LOOK AT GAIA MAPS OR ONX OR A USGS TOPO. NO EXCUSES.
After researching your (alisa@tahoedreamteam.com post), you're information is completely false. I talked to both the Forest Service and pulled up the land ownership parcels. There are plenty of public access routes to Snow Mountain and the mountain summit is on Forest Service Land.
I am adding a map showing where the public land vs private land is.
You may prosecute anyone who is tresspassing on your land, but Snow Mountain is on public land, but this page will tell everyone that they have to stay off private land and that there are public access routes available to Snow Mountain. In fact tellling people that there is no legal access is completely illegal.
Your multiple threats against the website, staff, and its members are baseless and I am turning this over to the Forest Service/Law Enforcement. I am also contacting the local county government as well.
I have filed a complaint with Sheriff Devon Bell against Alisa Adriani concerning that matter. We'll see where law enforcement goes with this.
Complaint:
I am a memberwith a hiking and climbing website that has some written information concerning Snow Mountain which is on Tahoe National Forest Service Land.
Even though there are many public access routes available to the mountain through Forest Service Land, one owner (with the name of Alisa Adriani) of a nearby property, who is making threats towards anyone who steps foot on forest service land anywhere near Snow Mountain. She also is verbally threatening people who post any information on the mountain, even if they admonish others to stay away from private property and use public access routes.
I agree about Snow Mountain. Been there (and Devil's Peak) several times.
You mentioned a map showing who owns what areas. Is the map still available?
