Good page! I'd just incorporate the comments if you feel they are beneficial and turn the reference to www.tlazy7.com into a link :-)

The Bell Cord Couloir looks fun - I hope to check it out sometime and get some photos to boot. Is the Bell Cord Couloir the long straight couloir in this photo and this photo? The angles look different in the photos, almost as if they are taken from different sides of the mountains? I don't want to think about it too much right now :-P

Thanks John,

Yes the Bell Cord is the long straight couloir in both photos. As you approach the climb the angle does appear to change. Hope you have the chance to climb it sometime. I'll be back in CO this fall and winter so let me know if you make it out.

Chris,

The main page says the best time to climb this peak is in the spring and I noticed that you did your couloir climb in May. What shape would the couloir be in the fall or winter? Alternately, what climbs would be in good shape during that time?

Thanks!

John,

The couloir will be scree and loose rock in fall, while in winter it very closely follows an avalanche chute. If the contiditions were ideal I think that it could safetly be done in winter, ie good snow pack with a hard freeze. Other good 14er type climbs are abundant during fall and winter. If you backcountry ski I can give you great descents lines.

Another nice page. I am still trying to figure out if this one is as hard as some say. Seems like the traverse is the real hard part.

You've got it. I didn't think it was that hard but it is very commiting.

Another nice page! Delete "Miscellaneous Info" if it's going to empty, you'll always have the chance of adding sections.

Thanks

Thanks Kane,

The spilled drink incident was a simple test to see if you potential climbing partners would abandon me when things started to go wrong.

You all passed with flying colors.

How was LCW?
