Scott- Thanks for the nice comments- didn't mean to swipe this one from you- I was surprised that it wasn't taken and it's a very cool formation. If you have photos- please contribute to the overview or approach as this was pre-digital camera days for me and I know my photos are so-so. Thanks!

I don't have the photos yet as we are actually planning to climb it January 28. I haven't climbed it yet!

Nice job on the page. I really don't need any more pages, so don't worry about any swiping. Thanks for the info.

Pretty cool tower. There was a climbing calendar that came out for years having this as their logo.

Nice page! I'd say add the technical routes, but you've already incorporated them into the main text. Any chance we can get a nice photo to go along with the route topos?

Outstanding page Sean!

Great topo too on this beautiful-looking peak. Keep up the great submissions to SP.

Now my only question would be: why six-shooter? Does it look like one from some angle?

North Six Shooter looks the most like a gun with the long barrel pointing toward the sky. South SIx Shooter does also, but less so, with a shorter barrel. Thanks for the look and the JPG tips on the other page- appreciate it. Many of my photos are older, from a time when I used a 35mm and the hard drive space cost so much that I used higher compression rates. Things have changed!

Good one Sean. I enjoy those tidbits of history you include in many of your pages.

A 5.6 route, eh? - a tower I may actually be able to climb :)

That's exactly how I felt when I climbed it then- thanks for the look!
