Yeah, agreed, the dry conditions were/are/have been frightening. Here's to hoping this Thursday through Friday storm will dump several feet on us here on the Palmer Divide as well as in the mountains! I love winter to begin with, so dry winters are a bummer to me on many accounts.
Thanks for the comment about the less traveled peaks - those are the ones I enjoy the most, and it's a joy to share them on SP.
