Thanks. Acadia is a great place. My wife's favorite National Park, and right near the top of my list, too. So much to see and do. A great park for day-hiking (they don't allow backcountry camping--too small and fragile).

You're welcome. Thanks for the vote. I'm slowly scanning some of my older photos. If I can find all of my Katahdin pictures, I'll post more of them, too.

Great! I remember the Bubbles from when I was a sprout. Never climbed them, but I remember them rising abruptly across Witch Hole Pond and the rest. Ah, Acadia...
I love places like this (probably bc I, too, havent been west) - it reminds me of Killarney Provincial Park in Ontario. I will have to visit this area one day soon. Thanks for posting it. Cheers!

Untitled CommentNice page and good pix. Good thing you didn't roll the Bubble Boulder! Might mention Jordan House Restaurant. Thanks for adding the Bubbles.

Untitled CommentFunny, I have lived in New Hampshire for four years and have only done two summits in Maine. Good page on an area I plan on hitting later this year.

Untitled CommentMaine is great. You'll have a blast. Acadia is a wonderful place to do day-hikes. Lots of great views. They even have a via feratta in the park.

It's a neat little peak. The boulder is lots of fun for prank photos. Not bad views from there, either.
