This is a well done page on a mountain in SW Virginia near Mt. Rogers. It would be a good hike if you were in the area and a platform from which to see the Mt. Rodgers area. Camping is available and the weather is posted. Enjoy you visit if you are hiking the Appalachian Trail or just in the vicinity
Thanks for all of the information on this page. I went to Grayson Highlands SP 4th of July weekend 2006 to get a feel for the area and went right by there without realizing it. Hoping to get back there sometime this fall. Keep up the great pages, and thanks again.
I just took over this page some time ago. I haven't added to it. I think edoc created it, so you need to thank him.
I thought I'd have been back there to get some new photographs and information on those peaks, but I haven't had the opportunity. Looks like Fall before I get back up there to do that hike.

Untitled CommentHo! I was going to hit the First, Second, Third Peaks and do summitposts, but I see they're already here!
If I do hike them in two weeks, I'll add some photos. (I may not hike anywhere. Got a bad sprain on the job. Foot sprain. Never had a sprained foot.)
