Elevation according to the the topo would be somewhere over 2900 feet.
One trail begins at about 7mi n Glacier Highway, just north of the DOT building.
Maybe add a little more detail to the above. I'm a little confused by the "7mi n". Is this "7 miles north" or "7 minutes"? A little more detail would be good.
One of the photos up top appears to either be deleted or didn't load properly.
Anyway, I'll be headed to Juneau in a few months. I'll put all these Juneau region pages to good use. The pages and photos make me look foreward to the trip.

Thanks for catching the elevation, 2,800 was quoted in a Newspaper article but I believe the topo more :)
The picture should be fixed now too.
And I cleared up the 7 mile trailhead directions a little bit, hopefully I can provide even more detail soon.
I think it's great that you're visiting Juneau, I love it up there and the mountain climbing is fantastic in clear weather.
