I thought one of you Colorado folks might bring this up. I was really split on this one because the high point is not named on the map, only the range. The only thing I went by was the fact the map says Williams Mountains and this page does not consist of more than one summit. I do plan on going back next season to get a few more summits in that range. My plan was to change the name once I add another summit to thepage. Does that make sense?
Well written, concise and informative. Classic Kane style. Gorgeous photos that do the area justice...well, almost. Your Williams Mountain page makes me long for summer so I can go climb the thing! I've seen this mountain from Gizzly Peak and often wondered about it. Thanks for the beautiful insight into this hidden Colorado jewel. Oh, and sign your summit log, bub!
Your photos make me want to add this to my list of ones to do when next in Colorado. Very nice, love the rock in the lush green vegetation. Maybe someday soon.

Untitled CommentGood stuff, Kane! Did you consider just calling the page Williams Mountains? I haven't seen this peak referred to as unnamed in the past.

Untitled CommentMakes perfect sense to me. It'd be fun to join you next year if possible. This looks like a great area of the Sawatch that I'd like to see for myself!

Untitled CommentGreat scenery! I like the part about the "Gods of Erosion". Probably happily chiseling away on UN 13,382 ...

Untitled CommentGood page. Near Elbert and Massive, but without the crowds. Sounds good to me.

Untitled CommentAnother of your excellent pages. Well written, complete, and compete of great pictures. Thanks for posting!
One minor detail in the route page:
if your not comfortable ->if you are not comfortable

You mean "complete." Ha! I caught the master!
Nah...just a typo!

Untitled CommentNot only compete is a typo, but there's also an ugly double use of the same adjective. Yuck!
