I think the highest peak of Germany deserves a better page!

One and a half year without editing shows that dirki is not really interested in the page and maybe he should give it to someone else who will improve it!

I've recently adopted this page so still there is some information to add: books (I've found no one ISBN in amazon.com), more links, etc. But please read the page again, I think I've improved it.

Nice job, Diego.

I second pini's thoughts. this one star vote should put the page up for adoption soon.

Adopter: please respond when you have updatedthis page.

Good work, nice page. Adding the links at the bottom section would be helpful. Cheers William

Its an okay page with some great photos but lacks one of the elements that makes the Zugspitze Great - a route description for the north face Hollental route! This is one of THE classic easy (i.e. no need for ropes) routes on any mountain in the world. Climbing vertical rock, snow bowls and an airy summit finish (despite the cable car station) is a superb route and should be included. I'll definately re-vote if this is added - or maybe I should just add it myself.

Hey Anthony, I really think that this page is better than 2 stars. However I'll try to find information about Hollental route. I were going to search it during my trip to Germany this January but finally I didn't go because of family problems. Another disadvantage is that I don't know too much german but I have relatives that can traduce the texts to me.

You have routes in the Hollental here:

http://www.garmisch-partenkirchen.de/kv/?l=e&p=info/wandern/hoellentalklamm

I have no more information about the routes in that face, so you can read that information since I don't want to copy it.

I have now posted Hoellental route. So perhaps it is worthy for you to visit the Zugspitze page again
