Very nice picture!How was the snow level on Iron? Did it pose any problems on the steep parts after the Allison Saddle? Thanks for sharing, Guido

The last 2 miles along the ridge that day was waist deep snow. Me and fellow SPer Vic Hanson made the mistake of not having snowshoes. We had to posthole something fierce up and down those 2 miles. The summit was covered but not as deep as the ridge. Beautiful setting and great workout as usual to Iron.
