Mt. Jefferson as seen...

..from the eastern side of Schreiner Peak. We had views like this that were even better but failed to get the shots when they presented themselves. Nice views of Mt. Hood and Olallie Butte were enjoyed from this spot. We parked at this spot and headed up to this flat bench where we decided to cross to the other side of the stream shown to the north and make our way to the point where this pic was taken. In retrospect, we should have stayed with the ridge we were coming up instead of crossing over.
