South Slope from Red Lake
Trip report. Both the trail (2021) and the road (2023) have been maintained / regraded. The drive is uneventful and doable with 2WD, albeit high clearance is advisable. Side vegetation has been trimmed back and is easy to avoid.

From Red Lake
Something to do in the afternoon after setting up camp at Red Lake. Almost all dry talus to the summit, and a pretty good view. Trip report.

From Red Lake
Coasted on snow in the drainage as much as possible before cutting straight up to the summit on loose class 2. Packed up camp at Red Lake and arrived at the car at 4pm.
I nice scramble to the base and lots of loose rock over the last 700 feet. Super views!

Charles Irving didn't listen to my suggestions on the (correct) route, so we ended up going up and down on a ridge traverse to the peak. Done after the hike up to Red Lake Camp-did Split and Prater the next day

Not difficult, but with a full pack a strenuous haul up from the east, then over to Split and several others the next day.
