It's in Montana!Mt. Wilbur is in Glacier National Park in Montana. It is located in the Many Glacier area. My wife and I visited the park this past summer when I took the picture. The peak has it's own page here on summitpost. Good luck on summiting....it looks like a real challenge.

Re: It's in Montana!its a steep scramble/climb. i wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is not ok with loose footing or exposure. the only real class 5 parts is just before thinmans pleasure, just before the "jump move" and mabe a little on the summit chimney. its a really great climb tho, very exciting and great vantage on swiftcurrent valley

Wow!This is my highest rated photo on summitpost. Thanks to Fred for using it on the main page for Mt. Wilbur. And to think I took it from the porch of a hotel!
