Mysterious Weeping Fir

This is the mysterious weeping Douglas fir tree found on the Nez Perce National Forest of Idaho. The tight arrangement of the needles and drooping branches are not typical for this species. The two trees on the left are normal Douglas fir. No one has a clue why this tree grows the way it does.
