Re: AwesomeThank you very much for your nice comments and interest in Pakistan’s mountains. The photo was taken from Fairy Meadows. For absolute size Nanga Parbat is almost without equal, not a single mountain, but in reality, an entire massif culminating in an ice summit 8125 meters high. The rumpled flanks of its subservient attendants climb up out of the Indus Valley and there, beyond the blue-grey whale-back ridges, ringed by a halo clouds, rises its long ridge, Unequaled for scale, so is it for hostility. Apart for Everest and Annapurna in the south, it has claimed the lives of more climbers than any other.
Best regards, Afzal
