Natahki Lake, Ridge to Saddle...

When leaving the lake, simply take the shortest route (that is, keep to the right in this photo) to the ridge-top, at which point, although it's not seen here, you'll be out of the trees, with the final ascent to the saddle being easy and quite obvious.
