"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Routhe Climbed: West Ridge Date Climbed: july 2009Started early in the morning from the Oberaletschhütte and reached the Gredetschjoch without great difficulties. The rocky part on the West Ridge allows some pleasant scrambling, the last part to the foresummit is quite tricky when icy. Nice summit cross and beautiful views. Descent through the seracs on the Beich glacier is very strenuous. You don't want to be there in late afternoon when the sun weakens all the snow bridges. Very long descent to Blatten.
