I will be back
This is my favorite of the three trails that go into the canyon. I hiked this trail 5 times: three times down and two up. I am still to learn to enjoy the distance from Supai Tunnel to the Rim.

Up-n-down
Made a deal with my wife to only go down to 95 degrees...Got an early start (64 degrees) and made a large chunk of descent before the themometer hit the magic turn around point.
I was pregnant, and hiked all the down to Phantom ranch and back in 1 day. it was my first trip to US, and I was eager to explore it all.

What an intro to Arizona!
Moved to Arizona and went to the North Rim a day later to hike to Phantom Ranch via the North Kaibab trail. The 120 degrees at the bottom of the canyon was quite the introduction to Arizona.

Rim to Rim
Came down this way. I think I may have liked it better than the Bright Angel trail. Definitely more ledgey on this one! :)

Awesome one-day run from the South Rim to the North Rim (via Bright Angel and N Kaibob) and back (via N and S Kaibob). Next time I'll descend the S Kaibob and ascend the Bright Angel as the S Kaibob is a grueling steep nasty climb after a full day out. In total (not counting the 3 mile walk back to Mather Campground (no shuttle service after 7:30pm)) was 46 miles, 11,400' of gain, 17 hours. The North Kaibob Trail was by far my favorite stretch... very beautiful.

2x for r2r2001 and 2007. After a great day S-to-N, got terrible food poisoning, and had to take the bus back (2007).
