Fun climb & rappel
Brian C led. Even the hard part (start) felt easier than 5.7 with the chiseled steps.

Delightfully airy
The airiness of this route took my breath away - in a good sorta way. Fun to amuse the tourists with our climbing antics.

through the air
climbed the north ridge on montezuma with brian. an awkward starting ledge and the constant air tugging on my eyes and mind made the first pitch an unforgettable experience. the upper pitch was another beauty, short and sweet. what a beautiful way to start of great day of climbing!

Plenty 'o air
A lot of air on this ridge ascent...I discovered once I was back on the ground that my knees were shaking. LOL! What a wuss! Glad I could entertain the numerous tourists and walkers who had gathered to watch us, though.
Fun climb up the north ridge. First 20 feet are the hardest. The rest is exposed but relatively easy. If you climb the Garden, you gotta do this one.

north ridge
Had to bail after the 1st pitch the first time. Came back a couple weeks later and had good weather this time. Very exposed but moderate climb. The chiseled steps make it easier than 5.7.
Nice climb, one of the best in the garden. I would have to call it 5.6 at best.

Took two attempts
6/10/09 - Unfortunatly we had to bail after the first pitch due to an electrical storm. I shot up the pitch to clean the gear and we bailed from a big eyebolt. I WILL be back.
6/22/09 - Returned in better weather and made it to the top! Very unique climb.

One pitch via north ridge
Amazing climb after work. Awsome double rope rappel while the sun was beginning to set over the front range. Not too many tourists this time of year.
