Thanks! I ditched my snowshoes for crampons at about 10200' once the terrain changed from forrested to open windblown. However, there was just one really short steep section (where the NNE ridge and the NNW ridge join) that I felt that they were really necessary. But, conditions could be completely different a month from now.
