North Sandia Peak Sunrise

North Sandia Peak (10447 ft) as seen from Bernalillo, NM shortly after sunrise. The escarpment just to the right of the peak is called The Shield. The bulging rock face on the right of the image is The Needle (10260 ft). The high point of the range is just off the image to the right. Imaged in June 2011.
